They're looking for someone passionate about making top-quality gameplay to join their team. They build features in a very collaborative, multi-disciplinary manner, and this is most evident in the area of gameplay — teams of engineers, designers, and UI experts work together to deliver amazing experiences that the player can understand and enjoy.

They're looking for someone who has capability and passion in at least two of the three areas of: Gameplay, AI and UI. That’s because the best player experiences always come when these systems work together seamlessly.

What a Games Programmer does:

  • Works closely with designers and other engineers to translate high-level ideas into AAA game features
  • Collaborates and works closely with other studios around the world
  • Implements and maintains reliable and efficient code
  • Keeps iterating with their team until the feature is incredible
  • Works with designers to develop great authoring workflows
  • Takes features through to shipping, fixing bugs and performance issues


A Games Programmer will need:

  • BSc in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong C++ programming skills - C# and Python a plus
  • Experience using visual scripting (e.g. Unreal’s Kismet) a plus
  • Experience using Unity a big plus
  • A passion for games, and a desire to create high-quality AAA titles that millions of people want to play
  • Experience shipping games on a AAA engine is a big plus
