We have partnered with an exciting games studio based in the South West, who require an experienced Lead Level Designer. The studio have produced a range of games which have consistently been downloaded in the high millions and won several high profile international awards in the process.
As the Lead Level Designer you will work closely with the Game Director in defining the vision to the title, your primary role will be to design challenging and fun features which will keep their users engaged in an expansive in-game world. You will also have a hand in designing AI encounters, story narrative and tweaking reward systems, while mentoring and managing a small team of Designers.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about all fields of Level Design and will think outside the box when it comes to aspects such as, character development and producing stunning levels that the player can interact with.
The studio are based in a beautiful location by the sea, with affordable rent prices, family friendly location with top of the range restaurants and activities.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Level Design
• Previous experience in Level design for AAA console or PC games
• Past Mentoring or Lead experience
• Excellent sense for creating playable end user experiences
• Experience with CryEngine or Unreal 4 would be a bonus
