Job Description A leading games publisher and developer with a successful track record of manufacturing and distribution seeks a Product Development Manager to support the Hardware Business Team on major licenses (such as Atari) and developing new products for the Worldwide Market. The focus of the role is within the gaming (namely retro gaming) market.
This role will take products from conception to market, working with Business Development, Marketing, Designers and Manufacturers to deliver a finished product.
Your core deliverables will be to produce finished products from a product brief, within budget and to an agreed quality that conforms with all relevant local territory legal requirements.

Responsibilities of the job include:
  • Generating ideas for new products and researching feasibility in terms of profitability, resource availability and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle all of the technical / operational elements of bringing a product to market, working with the rest of the team on aesthetics/basic requirements    
  • Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
  • Planning, organising and overseeing process or production trials
  • Liaising with engineering, research, technical and/or production staff
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.                
  • Monitor on daily basis status of line development which includes design, production and technical design
  • Key skills
  • Knowledge of Hardware Specifications & Standards 
  • Previous experience of working within a Product, Design and Development environment 
  • A logical and investigative mind
  • Excellent analytical skills
