Job Description NFL Players, Inc. (licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association) is looking for a dynamic Digital Licensing Manager to join our award-winning licensing team!  The Licensing Department is divided into three main categories: Apparel, Non-Apparel, and Digital.  This department knows NFL players better than anyone and works closely with all NFLPA licensees to help them maximize their usage of group player rights.   Digital Licensing Manager candidates should have a college degree in addition to a minimum four years’ experience working for a licensor, licensing agency, retailer or licensed manufacturer.  Knowledge of the gaming industry, including console, mobile, P/C, VR/AR is a must!  Account management/brand strategy experience in sports or entertainment is preferred. Strategic planning, creative thinking, strong negotiating and the ability to build strong relationships are a few attributes needed to be successful in this role. Applicants should be comfortable working in a collaborative, team environment.  

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of digital and mobile licensees including manage category P&L, track revenue and category growth, oversight of online product approvals, etc.
  • Managing all facets of relationship with EA, the NFLPA’s key gaming licensee
  • Partnering with Business Development team to identify and develop category leads
  • Overseeing product development, quality control and approval process
  • Proposing and negotiating sponsorship activations for NFLPA events for appropriate category licensees
