Job Description Our client seeks a resourceful Project Manager for their Research and Development team. You will work alongside the Head of R&D to ensure the success of funded R&D projects and other long-form R&D projects. The role provides a great opportunity to work with a talented team on exciting projects, whilst helping them shape the future of their animation studio by embracing emerging technologies and evolving an established pipeline. Problem solving, task delegation and a keen eye for logistics are the key skills for this role.

Candidates are required and must be eligible at time of application to work on-site in Glasgow.



Required Qualifications
  • Work with the Head of R&D to support day-to-day management of R&D projects, including project and task scheduling, cost tracking and management of staff
  • Help keep ticketing system up-to-date, including weekly reporting and tracking
  • Maintain overall R&D project schedule
  • Work with Resource Manager and Production to ensure R&D project needs are met
  • Maintain project documentation where applicable, including financial reporting and final project reports
  • Support application, management and reporting of government funded research projects within the studio
  • Track annual leave for R&D team and ensure cover is in place
  • Keep track of contract end dates, renewals etc. and assist in R&D recruitment





Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Experience in project management of software development desired
  • Background in science, mathematics or engineering preferable
  • Familiar with agile methodology
