You could be a Producer with a leading independent studio that can boast 75 games across multiple platforms, in-excess of 65 million units sold and some of the biggest, and well loved, franchises in games!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initial concept through to publication
  • Establish realistic project scope
  • Ensure the development of all projects occurs in a timely fashion, adheres to budget and meets high-quality standards
  • Perform and optimise good project management techniques
  • Perform risk analysis on all projects and manage with a view to mitigating any and all project risks
  • Review milestone deliverables and work to ensure they are fully achieved to the highest standards
  • Work with any 3rd party developers or publishers to meet the business needs of our client maintain good relationships with both
  • Ensure games meet the technical requirements of format holders
  • Co-ordinate external projects when required
  • Review production department performance
  • Assess hardware requirements and recommend feasible upgrade plans
  • Report to the Production Director on progress, budgets, risks, failures and all known issues
  • Work with programmers, artists, designers, audio staff and external contractors to ensure a good working environment


Standards of Performance:
All work should be performed accurately and in a timely fashion:

  • Construction of project milestones, take the project's design concept and devise a clear development path
  • Construct milestones and supporting documentation for client or external publishers.
  • Manage milestones so that they are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage the communication of game content, concept or vision to artists, programmers, producers, marketing staff, and other stakeholders
  • Deal with inter-personnel relationships on a project to ensure the smooth running of the project
  • Pro-active problem solving
  • Liaise with all other departments (e.g. marketing, finance)
  • Organize sufficient and effective QA within the remit of the projects budget
  • Improve the quality of the content required for our client's software. Including, but not limited to, iterative play testing, reporting problems and addressing any quality shortfalls
  • Presenting software to 3rd parties such as publishers, either on the premises, at publisher/ platform holder offices, or at trade shows
