Our client is looking for an experienced trader, or sales person, with excellent account management skills. This is ideal for someone target and goal driven, money motivated and results focused.

You will be selling large volumes of video games, consoles and accessories into the UK market. The main objective being to sell to large national accounts (e.g. online retailers, specialist retailers, high street retailers and supermarkets). While you will need to maintain and grow the revenue from existing accounts; the focus will be to grow new accounts and expand our client’s revenue potential. This is not a role for someone content to rest on their laurels.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years with a proven track record in sales, trading or a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Experience of using databases
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. excel, word, powerpoint etc.)
  • Target and results driven, restless attitude
  • Structured, organised and focused
  • Happy to work out of hours when required

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Solutions – AXAPTA / Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Experience of international sales
  • Experience of working within the Video Games distribution industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise sales figures and future sales activity
  • Sales Account Management
  • Nurture customer and supplier relationships
  • Communicate & Collaborate with other parts of the organisation including the Warehouse team
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Compile reports and analysis of sales figures, promotional activities and market for senior management
  • Take responsibility for maintenance of sales admin. Ensuring sales team paperwork is submitted and updated properly
  • Develop junior sales staff and the wider Sales Team
  • Keep up-to-date with products and competition
  • Deputise for the Sales Manager when required
