Job Description Lead Unity Developer – Top Grossing Mobile Studio – London   

A London based Games studio are currently looking for a Lead Unity Developer to work on a range of new titles on mobile platforms. The studio are currently working on a number of their own IP’s and require this person to work closely with the current Technical Director in developing the prototypes for these projects. 

The team are made up of award winning developers who have a history of releasing a range of interactive games, some of which have been very well received and are loved in the mobile market.   

This role can offer a chance to own quite a large area of the code development and would suit someone who enjoys working and leading a small team. This would suit a Lead generalist programmer who enjoys working in a flat structure, where they can get involved with different disciplines of programming and assist with rapid prototyping. You will be relied on to come up with ideas for a new range of games that the studio are developing, you will lead, manage and mentor your team, while also remaining hands on with contributing to the codebase. 

This role will promote freedom in your work style and will allow you to be creative with your code in an open-plan environment, where ideas are commonly contributed and everyone has an input on the project. 

Requirements 
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Programmer in the video games industry
  • Strong Unity experience
  • Released titles on either PC, Console or Mobile platforms (preferred)
  • Experience with multiple disciplines of programming such as gameplay, UI, tools etc
  • Past project work on a portfolio would be desired but not essential
