Job Description Are you a Production Assistant / Project Manager with a background in video games? Have you worked on at least 2 titles in a production capacity from start to finish?

We have partnered with award winning top industry veterans who have been actively engaged in the game development industry for the past 22 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Producer / Producer / Project Manager to join their growing team working alongside the Head of Delivery on a variety of projects some with budgets in the millions.

Role and Responsibilities;

  • Managing and refining production schedules and tracks progress towards deliverables for multiple projects 
  • Facilitating constant communication between team members departments and managers;
  • Creating and distributing reports to foster communication and promote awareness of progress and issues;
  • Ensuring that teams are focused on and capable of delivering priorities;
  • Managing client relationships and handling client/stakeholder change requests to ensure that impact is considered and communicated;
  • Identifying and addressing inefficiencies in production processes
  • Managing external contractors relationships and their deliverables
  • Managing internal and external QA;
  • Managing localisation.
  • Driving risk analysis and mitigation
  • Defining operating and improving production systems
  • Implementing and supporting organisational change
  • Supporting individual team and discipline development initiatives


Person Specification / Behavioural Traits;

  • Passionate about game development and project management;
  • A positive can-do attitude;
  • Very good cross-discipline interpersonal skills (written and oral communication);
  • Reliable and trustworthy;
  • Capable of developing robust plans;
  • Can manage and inspire internal and external teams to achieve goals;
  • Identifies and eliminates inefficiencies in production processes;
  • A pro-active multi-tasking problem-solver unfazed by complexity;
  • Quick to learn and able to develop others;
  • Takes ownership of and confidently handles a wide range of situations;
  • Calm and dependable under pressure.


Essential Knowledge Experience and Interests

  • Worked on at least 2 titles in a production capacity from start to finish;
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel;
  • Experience of managing budgets client relationships and external contractors;
  • Very good cross-discipline interpersonal skills (written and oral communication);
  • Knowledge of Agile production methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of multiple platform holder requirements;
  • Knowledge of project management software (ideally Jira);
  • Knowledge of QA and localisation processes;
  • Knowledge of version control software
