Amiqus have partnered with a AAA console studio based in St Petersburg, who are currently looking to bolster their ranks and require a Lead Game Designer to help manage a small team and work on their new console title. The Studio were formed by a range of key figures in the games industry, and over the years have built an experienced International Team over multiple worldwide sites.
The studio have released some of the biggest games on console and PC platforms and have worked with some of the biggest studios in world on a range of projects. This role will focus on you working on an existing franchise, which has earned high praise and acclaim.
As the Lead Designer you will work closely with the Game Director in defining the vision to the title. Your primary task will be to assist with the games development, you will hit the ground running designing the core gameplay elements to the game, such as mechanics, narrative, missions and features. You’ll also have a hand in recruiting and mentoring the Designers to be able to produce the AAA output that is expected.
This is a great opportunity for a Lead Game Designer to work on a new AAA title and work in one of Russia’s most beautiful cities, with some business trips to Canada and the USA. This role is open to Lead Designers or Senior Designers who think they can take the challenge of leading a team.
