Job Description Amiqus have partnered exclusively with award winning, industry veterans to find a key hire, a Graphics Programmer for their studio in Portsmouth.

Working across multiple platforms, including new and undisclosed technologies across unannounced projects, your responsibilities will include;
  • Designing and implementing new graphical features and effects
  • Developing document, test and maintaining graphical and engine features in collaboration with the other members of the team.
  • Debugging complex rendering problems
  • Profiling and optimising game engine rendering performance
  • Troubleshooting of all graphics related issues.
  • The research and application of relevant new technologies.

Requirements 
  • An education of Bachelor’s level within a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • A real passion for graphics development.
  • Strong C++ skills and shader programming skills
  • Current generation console experience would be our first choice but experience of working with any modern graphics API is also hugely interesting to us.
  • Vulkan programming experience is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in maths/3D geometry.
  • A good understanding of memory management, multi-threading and optimisation
  • The ability to learn, test, debug and extend existing engine code
  • First class management, communication and scheduling
