Job Description iOS Developer – Social / Games Platform – Newcastle

A Newcastle based technology studio are currently looking to expand their development team with an iOS Developer hire to work on their hugely successful mobile app. The app brings together people from around the world, where they can interact, share content and play a range of mini games in a collective community format.

As the iOS Developer in this team, you will work closely with the app and help improve it by implementing new features which will in turn increase the user base. The studio are looking for someone to come up with new ideas and have a good oversight of the apps market, knowing what works and what doesn’t.

You will work hand in hand with the Co-Founders and manage the development life cycle from briefing, estimation and implementation. You will act as the core member of the communication and be responsible for driving the design quality and motivation for your team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company as they begin work on the new and improved version of the already successful app. You’ll play an integral role in continuous improvement of their development processes and help implement your own ideas within the app.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience as an iOS Developer
  • Strong knowledge with Objective-C and Swift
  • Passionate about the iOS apps market with a good sense of the current trends
  • Appreciation of good solid UI/UX
