Job Description Our client is a AAA developer known for their standard-setting graphical fidelity in games that push the envelope for console and PC. With an ambitious new Open World RPG project in the works, they now seek a AAA-seasoned Lead Technical Artist to head up their Midlands UK studio's talent.


  • Leading the Technical Art team, collaborate with Tools and Rendering teams to implement pipelines and maintain all internal art processes
  • Investigate run-time performance and propose solutions


  • 5 years' experience within the games industry, with Lead role on at least one shipped current-gen AAA console or PC title
  • 3DS Max or Maya scripting, PBR shader creation and a good range of techniques across specialist scripts and plug-ins, as demonstrated in your portfolio
  • Understanding of art creation pipelines, asset export and process automation
  • Passion for games and driving visual fidelity within them
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, good communication skill across all levels
