Salary (H3): £39,511 to £50,843 per annum including London Allowance   

The highly regarded and well-established Division of Digital Arts at Brunel University London is seeking to recruit a full-time member of staff to support the continued rapid expansion of the Division and to help develop the subject’s excellent education provision.

The department prides itself on the excellence of its teaching, close relationships with its students and an extremely proactive, hardworking, and collegial atmosphere that is all built around a love of and passion for games.

We are looking for candidates who can bring games industry experience and an understanding of the design of digital games as well as the practice of making them. The successful candidate will have experience in software use in game engines and design skills such as documentation and core design.  

The focus of both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught provision is on games for entertainment purposes with a strong, integrated theory component. It has an extremely elevated level of industry employment and engagement but also maintains a very high standard of academic achievement  

This roles sits within the Education track and candidates would be expected to contribute to educational activity in the university in areas such as pedagogical research or improving educational practices.
