Job Description Based at our studio in Sofia, our multi award-winning Total War team are seeking an expert UI Programmer for GUI development.

You will be working in a collaborative team alongside designers, artists and programmers to implement and improve the GUI for Total War titles.

Key Responsibilities

As a UI Programmer on the team, you will provide programming support within the studio and have strong C++ skills. You will develop production code as well as optimising and bug fixing existing UI systems. You will also be using industry standard tools for development and source control. On the project, you will be designing, implementing and iterating on new UI systems with our designers and artists. Passionate about playing and making games with a good knowledge of the games industry in general is a must in the role.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

Essential
  • A good BSc or equivalent in a relevant subject such as maths, computer science or engineering.
  • Fluent C++
  • Knowledge of common UI software architecture and UI design patterns
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal capabilities
  • Attention to detail and a passion for making quality products
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
Desirable 
  • Experience with GUI development
  • Experience with source control
