Our client, an independent developer for console and PC based in France is now looking to hire a Technical Artist that can ensure that visual assets are optimized to meet the fps requirements and use the technical skills to accomplish great aesthetic AAA results. The benefits of the role will include the salary that will depend on the level of experiences plus benefits package (health insurance, Xmas vouchers, profit sharing, lunch vouchers), plus relocation assistance.

The role

The Technical Artist will be responsible for programming shaders (GLSL/HLSL) and scripts and will ensure that visual assets can be easily integrated into Unity engine. The person will have knowledge of rendering pipelines and techniques on consoles and will be able to make the best of softs, middleware, tools to achieve objectives.

The person

The Technical Artist will already work in a similar role within gaming studio.

The ideal person will have;

  • Knowledge of Unity, programming shaders and scripts, creating VFX.
  • Familiar with CG-orientated programming languages (image manipulation, compression and particle systems).
  • Experience with optimization techniques and constraints.


Extras;

  • Knowledge MaxScript.
  • Knowledge of C++ programming.
  • Knowledge of French.
