Job Title Senior 3D artist, full time, remote, VR studio, fun!
Job Category Environment Artist,UI / UX Designer / Artist,Lead Artist,Technical Artist
Job Description Are you a problem-solving artist that’s worked on a whole host of different projects?

Do you want to challenge yourself and learn new skills and techniques? Do you want to get involved in creating the future of immersive entertainment and training?

If so, you could be the artist we’re looking for! Future Visual is looking for an experienced senior 3D artist to join our team to work on a variety of VR and AR projects on desktop and mobile.

Our work is games industry-adjacent and typically involves building solutions for high-risk training scenarios, immersive games, and we are also building an Esports viewing platform with the Weavr consortium.

As a senior 3D artist at Future Visual, most of your work will be hard surface modelling. This might be designing and authoring a new environment for users viewing Esports, making fun virtual toys for users to play with, or creating a model from plans supplied by a client. Sometimes we might need VFX to bring our work to life, character avatars created and rigged, or need concepts created and ideas discussed with the team.

It’s important to either have experience in a range of different techniques, or have the motivation to teach yourself; we will help however we can.Our VISIONxR™ platform uses Unity, so you’ll need to be able to author assets in 3ds Max or Maya, and get these set up in Unity ready for the technical team to bring them to life, so familiarity with Unity subsystems like Animation, Shadergraph, and Universal Render Pipeline will be very beneficial.

At Future Visual we pride ourselves on an open, supportive culture to help you do your best work. We have dedicated R&D days with free food and drink delivered, and get together whenever we can to play games or enjoy a social.

The majority of the team are based in Brighton, UK, but are now a fully remote team, and are open to candidates in any part of the UK, with some flexibility on daily hours.

If the above sounds of interest, you have worked in teams on games or interactive entertainment, and you have a passion for learning new things, we’d love to hear from you!
