Job Description Gamer Network has recently launched a new tabletop board game project called Dicebreaker.

Initially announced with a YouTube channel, the full website will then follow later this year. This is a major new launch in an extremely exciting sector, and the candidate selected for this role will have a unique opportunity to shape the commercial success of a key new brand.

The successful candidate will learn the role from the ground up, working with a very experienced and capable sales team with a distinguished track record. As part of that, you will get the opportunity to take on the full sales cycle from this new venture and grow into the role as a Sales Executive.

You will be interacting with a deep roster of tabletop publishers and creators advertising agencies and media partners. The role will benefit from you already having experience in a consumer-facing entertainment-focused advertising role, but more than anything a personal interest in the sector will be key.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Work as part of an experienced team to drive the advertising sales for our new Tabletop website and video channel.
  • Support existing clients, and develop new ones, via telephone, email and face to face.
  • Grow revenue and market share, especially through taking new propositions to market.
  • Learn to deal with publishers, advertising agencies and partners and handle demanding, customer-facing relationships in the sector.
  • Use your presentation skills to present to a range of relevant clients, agencies and media partners.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrable commercial success in any previous media sales or other relevant role.
  • A strong ambition to sell online / digital media and advertising solutions to tabletop / board games and entertainment clients, agencies and media partners
  • High degree of business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to present to all levels of seniority, both externally and internally
  • Self starter, able to take ownership with a natural sales ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • A strong work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive.
  • A positive attitude and a team mentality

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Good standard of education, possibly to college level, or equivalent.
  • Any games industry exposure, with at least a personal interest or passion for the sector.
  • An interest in the technology, entertainment and lifestyle sector in general.
