Together with our players, we’re united as one Jagex tribe. Together we’re building deep and engaging multiplayer gaming experiences for players everywhere. As Producer (GaaS) you will act as the production owner for content delivery, managing the day to day work, backlog process and schedule of up to three small scale scrum teams.
- Be able to lead, inspire and motivate the teams working on the game, and maintain enthusiasm for the project
- Be able to dive into, understand and embody the game’s user experience
- Set goals and success criteria for your teams, managing the game’s performance
- Experience managing agile game deliver in a Games as a Service environment, ideally as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Review and guide your team’s delivery process from design to implementation creating features that drive engagement
- Work collaboratively with the development teams and remove obstacles to ensure an efficient development process
- Provide clear, concise status reports, verbally or written at all times, demonstrating an awareness of the team priorities, current tasks, risks and conflicts
- Be able to multitask and prioritize, managing people, time and resources
- Create good working relationships, managing cross team communication of development to all areas of the business
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, acting as the production representative of your team.
- Have good organizational and problem-solving attitude, managing the scoping and delivery process
- Have good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
- Have good knowledge of games and the games industry
- Proven production experience in Agile Game Deliver working on Games as a Service products
- Released titles on PC, Console or Mobile
- Experience with any of the following - Jira, Hansoft, Trello or similar package
- A strong Communicator
- Economic and/or Project Management degrees or live service environment expertise are a huge plus!
- Basic understanding of metrics, with a “data driven” attitude and fast decision making
- Good understanding of User Experience in live games and mechanics that drive engagement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ideally one of either: good analytical skills, very creative mindset, large scale scrum expertise
