2nd Line IT Support Engineer

A VR Games developer and publisher is looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team in Farnborough in line with their portfolio and studio growth.

This role will be offering direct technical support to the expanding infrastructure and increasing demands of their technical support team. Some key responsibilities for the role will be to address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking, guide users through installing applications and computer peripherals, conduct remote troubleshooting, and conducting basic server administration.

Due to the nature of this role, full-time on-site presence within the Farnborough-based studio will be required. In return, they are offering a salary of up to £35k depending on experience, along with flexible working hours and a comprehensive benefits list.

Requirements:

  • Prior 2nd Line Support experience (doesn’t have to be within the games industry)
  • Good working knowledge of IT technologies and security
  • Ability to provide written and verbal support
  • A self-starter who isn’t afraid to “muck-in”
  • A collaborative individual who thrives in an inclusive environment
