Animation Programmer - Mobile Studio – 100% Remote Working
A North West based Games studio are currently looking for an Animation Programmer to work on improving the studios in house tech and animation systems for a range of Mobile titles, some of which have well over 50 million downloads and over 1 million active players. The studio requires this person to work closely with the CEO, also the Art, Design and Development teams in further developing the technology for these projects.
They are looking for this person to work across the studios Animation Engine team, where you’ll be working on improving and tweaking their animation visuals and engine to make their game simulations look more realistic, enhancing the player experience. As part of the Engine team, you’ll be responsible for all the studios technological advancements for their state-of-the-art in-house engine. The games are very customisation heavy, with an air of realism, mixed with simplistic systems and challenging AI.
They are looking for this individual to have high energy and passion for video games and constantly come up with new and innovative ideas to keep their player base engaged. Your core function will be to work closely with animation and gameplay teams to create realistic person animation mechanics. The team are looking for someone to be the champion for all animation code.
This role offers either a fully remote working model or a hybrid model if you prefer some days onsite. - At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with C#
- Unity Engine experience
- Experience with Animation systems in games/apps
