Art Director PC/Console Games Southeast England REF 2915

Our client is seeking an Art Director to join their growing studio in Southeast England. The company offers empowerment and creative freedom for artists with the opportunity to have a significant impact on the future of gaming. This role is offered fully remotely or onsite along with an excellent relocation package.

What you will be doing:

• Motivating teams, delivering impressive visuals including vehicles, realistic environments, and lifelike characters in all disciplines and liaising with other partners
• Ensure team productivity by mentoring work peers and providing constructive feedback, actively contributing to their growth
• Organise and guide routine art development reviews
• Establish a standard of authenticity and quality
• Unite team in recognising good concepts and guide toward developmental processes
• Update Directors and key shareholders often as you meet deadlines

Who you are:

• Mastery in the games industry with 10+ years’ experience, 5 of which being in lead roles
• Solid foundation in art and knowledge of several different art forms
• Creative individual who has the capability to embrace and pioneer new artistic techniques
• UE4 and UE5 expertise as well as multiplatform knowledge
• Skilled in using essential production software such as 3DS Max, Maya, Blender etc.
• Possesses a clear artistic vision to maintaining excellence in all projects
• Demonstrates robust leadership qualities and can guide a sizable team toward a shared goal
• Well versed in providing useful feedback for other projects and contractual collaborations
