Audio Designer

A North East based Games studio are currently looking for an Audio Designer to join their growing team. Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.

As the Sound Designer, you will work closely with the Head of Audio and completely own the audio content production and implementation. Your primary role will be to deliver world class audio content, which enhances the narrative and the player’s immersion in the titles for a series of different genres.

The studio has a long-standing history with creating some of the best games on the market on console platforms. This role will have you working closely with the management team and will get involved with various aspects of audio, which includes liaising with other department leads and mentoring.

This role is hybrid working with 3 onsite and 2 remote days. Unfortunately, we cannot offer fully remote working or sponsor visas for this role.

Requirements

• At least 1 years’ studio experience in the games industry (either in-house or remotely)
• Released titles on either PC, Console or Mobile platforms
• Experience with in-game engines such as Unreal or Unity (or an in-house engine)
• A bonus if you have worked with FMOD or WWise
• Experience with Ambient sound design and dialogue
