Our client is looking for an Audio Engineer to join their diverse team delivering core technology and audio features. This first-party game studio is known for creating world-class, genre-defining games centred around immersive racing experiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to create a new classic, planning and delivering audio game and engine features to push the performance and capabilities of this project.
•Working with the lead engineer to establish high-level goals for the audio engineering and development team.
•Collaborate alongside the audio and game design teams to ensure audio is considered as part of all feature designs.
•Implement compelling Audio features which are key to our projects vision.
•Lead the development of audio features and underlying audio technology.
•Develop core audio and engine features within our custom, proprietary engine.
•Support pipelines and tools for delivering audio content.
•Stay up to date with industry trends and best practises related to audio programming techniques and technologies.
•Audio Engineering experience, with demonstrable work on at least one, ideally AAA, published title.
•Experience with third party audio tools, but experience with FMOD is a plus.
•Strong proficiency in the C++ programming language and object-oriented design principles
•Previous experience working in games or closely related software field.
