This client is still hiring remotely and until lockdowns end this will be a remote working role.

 

We’re excited to be working with a talented and well known studio in the South of England who are creating beloved and top quality games for consoles and PC. We are looking for a Benchmark Artist who is experienced creating assets to be used as benchmark pieces and comfortable working with outsourcers. This is a full-time and permanent job, and the salary DOE + benefits!

 

The Job

As Benchmark Artist, you will work to create assets that will be the benchmark across the studio’s projects. You will work closely with both the internal teams and outsourcers, and work to be the communication link between the two. With support from the Art Director and Outsource manager, you will create briefs, and specifications to give to vendors, and will provide feedback and evaluate the assets that they create. And you will also work to identify any risks that occur within the outsource pipeline as well.

 

The Person

Ideally, you will need to have prior experience in a similar role

 

You will need:

  • Experience with 3DS Max and/or Maya
  • Experience with Zbrush and Substance Suite
  • Experience with implementing assets into game engines
