What’s the job?

As our Chief Marketing Officer you’ll be overseeing our marketing activities for the business as a whole, developing, planning and strategising all of our marketing efforts.

What you will really be doing 

  • Executive accountability for development, planning and strategy for all marketing activities across the business including performance marketing, brand, PR, social media, community engagement, influencers and product marketing

  • Coaching and mentoring marketing team members across all areas of the business

  • Drive operational efficiency of the team by defining processes, and implementing tools to facilitate operation at scale

  • Working closely with department heads to ensure their marketing team members are performing optimally

  • Keeping abreast of the latest techniques and strategies in video game marketing

  • Adopt a data driven approach and closely monitor and report on KPIs across all aspects of marketing

  • Providing an extra pair of hands in all areas of marketing where needed

How you will be doing this

  • You’ll be part of an agile, multidisciplinary and creative team and work closely with them to ensure the best results.

  • You'll think creatively and be motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best.

  • You’ll work with cutting edge technology, if you need software or hardware to get the job done efficiently, you will get it. We even have a robot!

Skills and Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience as a CMO or equivalent senior marketing leadership role

  • A track record of creating commercial success and performance marketing growth, ideally in a multi-product digital platform environment

  • Excellent experience in all major areas of marketing including performance marketing, PR, community, influencers, launch hype, social media, branding, product marketing and marketing creative production in the games industry

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - emotional intelligence is critical to this role

  •  Ability to manage, mentor and motivate diverse teams, both locally, remote and internationally, and develop them to be high-performing.

  • Excellent organisational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and projects
