Senior Game Designer - AAA - 4 day working week
Developer Relations Manager in this global tech giant will be the main contact for commercial studios, championing their product innovations and showcasing their benefits to developers and studios alike.
You will help influence the product roadmap and strategy by providing feedback from our partners. Credibility among, and empathy for, game developers along with the ability to think past the mundane are more important than your constant familiarity with the most popular games. Additionally, you will provide strategic guidance to the business leadership team and put plans into action with a globally distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationship with high priority studios and publishers
- Develop and execute developer outreach and onboarding strategy
- Communicate and advise studios on new product features and updates
- Connect studios with the expert on the products team
- Proactively engage with the game development community, meeting them where they are.
- Give talks at industry events
- Have a strong vision for where the industry is going, and stay on top of new technologies that may prove disruptive in the future & what this means for the products strategy
- Work with marketing to organise developer events and organise Game Jams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communicator
- Previously worked in the games industry and familiar with game development processes
- Resourceful problem solver
- Familiar with game engines
- Worked in an Account Management environment
