Games Programmer – C++/Unreal Engine Co-Dev Projects – Remote / Hybrid / Onsite Leeds, UK

One Player Mission are thrilled to be working with a Leeds based client seeking an experienced Game Developer. This studio Co-Develops with leading Industry names based both in Europe and North America, on games for PC/XboxOne, Switch and PS4.

They are currently looking for a developer who has experience of shipping a title on Console made with Unreal Engine, working well as part of a team, and has a need to join an exciting and growing studio.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional experience of games programming with Unreal.
• Excellent C++ knowledge.
• Worked on at least one game in a professional studio.
• Work with other disciplines to implement gameplay and platform experience to their specification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Write high-quality, well commented, source code.
• Familiar with source control systems such as Perforce and PlasticSCM.
• Experience on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to assess tasks/timings to help project planning and scheduling.
• Experience working with and debugging other people’s code.
• Ensure games are compliant with platform holders’ guidelines.
