Head of Marketing – Mobile Studio – North West
A North West based Games studio are currently looking for a Head of Marketing to lead and develop marketing campaigns for a range of Mobile titles, some of which have well over 50 million downloads and over 1 million active players. The studio requires this person to work closely with the CEO, also the Marketing and Creative Teams in developing the strategies for these projects.
As the Head of Marketing, you will be tasked with creating, analysing and monitoring campaigns across the studio’s games portfolio, working on maximising the brand on each title. The studio has a great reputation for producing high quality games and will allow you the opportunity to work on multiple titles. The games are very customisation heavy, with an air of realism, mixed with simplistic systems and challenging AI.
The ideal candidate will be very knowledgeable about the games industry and will be an effective communicator. This position will have you liaise with top tier platform managers and partners, while also getting involved with external agencies, social media and marketing/user acquisition campaigns. You will be generating press releases, proofreading content and executing all communications, all whilst leading a small team.
This position requires someone who has high energy and has a passion and enthusiasm for the games industry. You will also be counted on to build relationships with external advertising networks and licensing partners, while also identifying opportunities for future growth and oversee such a key part of the business.
This role offers a hybrid model which includes 3 days working from home and 2 days onsite each week. - At least 3 years’ experience in a similar Marketing role
- Experience of running campaigns for Video Games or Mobile apps
- Strong experience of managing Social Media strategies
- Creative thinker who gets the best out of people
- Experience of Google Docs, Google Analytics and campaign attribution tools
