Lead Concept Artist – Console and PC Games – Germany

Our client is currently looking for a Lead Concept Artist 3D to manage one or more outsourcing teams and support in leading our internal 2D team.

The successful candidate will be working on our clients IP and other upcoming high-quality projects with Unreal Engine.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Shipped 1 or more games as a lead concept artist/outsourcing manager
• Strong experience at a game studio working as a senior concept artist
• Team management experience, able to give feedbacks on respect of style/quality and technical requirements
• Able to work on different visual styles from Realistic to stylized

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Create 2D concept art under requirement with high efficiency, including characters, backgrounds, buildings, props, and scenes
• Assist Creative Director and Game Designer to establish game world in the vision of the game concept
• Research and propose concept references
• Collaborate with technical Art director on providing concepts respecting technical constraints related to real time 3d engine.
• Manage outsourcing teams and plan their work
• Communicating with other teams to manage dependencies
