Lead QA - Up to £50k - Hybrid North East UK

A North East based Games studio are currently looking for a QA Lead to join their growing team. Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.

The studio has a long-standing history in creating some of the best games on the market on console platforms. This role will have you working closely with the management team and will get involved with various aspects of QA, which includes liaising with other department leads and mentoring, motivating and leading your own team.

They are looking for a hands-on lead who enjoys getting stuck into a project and mentor more junior team members. This role will be responsible of leading a team of 5-6, meaning experience working on projects as a senior or lead is a must.

Requirements

  • A passion for games
  • Past lead or mentoring experience
  • Understanding of JIRA or similar bug tracking and project management software
  • QA experience on console projects
  • A communicative individual who will thrive in an inclusive environment
