Lead Technical Artist – London, UK – AAA Games

Our client is on an epic journey and are looking for a Lead Technical Artist to explore new territory in the realm of AAA online gaming.

The successful candidate will need a passion for creating cutting edge AAA visuals to fully leverage what is possible with modern toolsets and hardware.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous shipped a AAA project from end-to-end in a Senior or Lead Technical Artist position.
• Experience in leading a team of Technical artists.
• Proven Technical Art experience on current-gen platforms.
• Have a deep understanding of modern toolsets and techniques.
• Previous experience driving efforts around performance optimizations.
• Have a passion for creating and playing games.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create inspiring artwork that captures players imaginations.
• Work alongside the tech and content teams to define and maintain art content pipelines.
• Maintain communication between all teams.
• Be proactive and work collaboratively with the wider team.
• Develop your skills and the skills of those around you.
• Work closely with the production team to manage project timelines.
