Level Designer – AAA Racing Game – Midlands, UK – FTC

OPM’s client is a first-party Xbox Game Studio that are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for building large sections of game worlds, creating genre-leading event designs and implementing key gameplay features. 

REQUIREMENTS:
 

• Previously shipped a AAA title in a similar design role. 
• Previous experience with 3DS Max, Mudbox and photoshop. 
• Have the ability to create whitebox environment and develop it through to shipped quality. 
• Experience building AAA open world environments. 
• A genuine passion for games. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build large scale sections of game worlds. 
• Create genre-leading event designs. 
• Implement key gameplay features. 
• Inspire and develop junior members forward through mentor ships and knowledge sharing.
