Marketing & Communications Manager

Amiqus are currently working with a 3-time BAFTA winning, Cardiff-based independent studio to help them find a Marketing & Communications Manager to join their small and passionate team.  

Focusing on developing and publishing video games and interactive movies, this studio’s goal is to create entertaining original titles an put Wales on the video games map. As well as creating their own titles, they also offer publishing services to Indie Developers, helping them bring their creations to new platforms.

As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will need to be a high energy and creative individual with a positive outlook. A market awareness and strategic mindset are also important, as you will be creating, scheduling and executing dynamic launch campaigns for new games. Along with internal marketing campaigns, you will be collaborating with external studios, PR agencies, and more towards delivering unique marketing plans.    

Requirements:

  • A passion for games and interactive experiences.
  • Hands-on product marketing background in either games, film, entertainment, or tech.
  • End-to-end knowledge of marketing campaigns, from initial creative brainstorming through to delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.  
  • Experience communicating with both internal and external clients/partners at various levels.
  • A collaborative individual who thrives in an inclusive environment.

This is a hybrid role and requires regular on-site work in their new Cardiff office (ideally 2-3 days per week, although this is negotiable). In return, the studio is offering a salary of up to £35k and flexible working hours/holidays.
