Location: We offer a mixture of remote and in the office working at Black Bull Yard, 24-28 Hatton Wall, London, EC1N 8JH. This role includes regular office-based team and member related activities, national and international travel on occasions.
Membership Account Officer - about the role
We are recruiting for an individual who is passionate about supporting all companies that work in our cutting-edge sector. Ukie has an expanding membership that currently stands at 525 companies. The Membership Account Officer is responsible for identifying and recruiting businesses, liaising with them to assess their specific needs, and providing them with access to programmes, contacts, activities, and events that will support their objectives.
The Membership Account Officer is also the first port of call for current members, across our membership categories and tiers. The Officer will work with members to develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and will be responsible for ensuring they are maximising the benefits of their Ukie membership. Additionally, the Membership Account Officer will be responsible for developing new events, products and services that Ukie can offer to its members, and which can potentially be commercialised for non-members.
We are looking for a creative and strategic thinker with excellent administration and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the diverse needs of companies of all sizes.
This role is within the Commercial and Membership team at Ukie, and you will be required to work closely with the wider Ukie team and key external stakeholders at all levels.
Desired experience and qualities:
· Ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a relevant business role
· A demonstrable track record in establishing and building business relationships
· Excellent written and analytical skills
· Excellent listener with outstanding communication skills
Other information:
Working hours are Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.30pm and there is an expectation that some evening and weekend work will be required to attend events as the business requires. Ukie supports remote working, but there is an expectation of regular visits to the office and to evens when required.
