The Producer will work with Senior members of the Production team to tackle an array of game publishing tasks. The Producer will act as a liaison between one or more external development teams to coordinate publishing, marketing, sales and distribution efforts while focusing on shipping titles on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:
-
Manages the day-to-day production needs throughout all phases of the development cycle (pre-production, alpha, beta and submission), including post-launch management of one or more titles.

Reviews and approves development milestones based on established criteria.

Tracks the publishing schedule and current progress of one or more titles in development.

Ensures quality of releases by working with external QA teams and playtesters to locate bugs and accessibility issues that may negatively impact a game’s user experience.

Works closely with external localization teams to develop plans as well as manage the translation and testing process.

Coordinates with development teams to release game updates and patches to live games on multiple platforms.

Handles the process of submission and certification to first-party platforms.

Gathers and submits materials for game age ratings.

Meets regularly with external teams to track their status and to remove roadblocks.

Tracks development expenses, maintains project budgets, and coordinates with the accounting team.

Qualifications:
-
2-4 years experience in a game production role.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
BA / BS or equivalent industry experience.
-
Familiarity with one or more platform's (Steam, Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony) backend systems.

Experience working with remote teams and remote developers.

Mastery of Trello, JIRA, and other project management tools.

Has shipped a game in multiple territories and locales.

Experience with establishing milestone schedules and defining deliverables.

Has previously created, edited, or contributed to Statements of Work or equivalent agreements.

Must have PC/gaming hardware capable of running modern games.

Great problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with development disciplines such as art, design, engineering, and QA.

Knowledge of different business and game distribution models.

Collaborative attitude with a focus on building relationships with development teams.
