Remote Lead/Senior C++ Generalist Programmer – REF 2780

We are working with a leading independent AI technologies company, who are looking for a Lead/Senior C++ Generalist Programmer to help join their talented team. This role is offered fully remote or at their studios based in Edinburgh.

What you will be doing:

• In a Lead position, you will lead a small team of developers, prioritizing and planning tasks for your team
• Design and develop new features for the studio’s latest project
• Identify, anticipate, and resolve bugs and performance issues
• Mentor and support junior members of your team
• Communicate ideas, intent, and constraints to both technical and non-technical team members
• Work closely with customers to develop features that fit their needs
• Review code and provide technical input in the design
• Mange and build relationships with industry partners

Who you are:

• For a Lead 5+ years of experience in a C++ Developer role, 3+ years of experience for a Senior
• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Similar
• Expert in C++
• Great maths skills vectors and trigonometry
• Experience with floating- and fixed-point arithmetic
• Good knowledge and proficiency in Unity, Unreal or Open3DE
• Experience in videogame development for iOS, Android, or game consoles
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
