Sales Account Executive

Thanks to ReedPop’s very successful portfolio of digital and event brands within a dynamic pop culture demographic, we have a requirement for a motivated and ambitious Sales Account Executive to work as part of our global commercial team to drive growth with our digital and event clients.

The successful candidate will grow in the role from the ground up, working with a very experienced and capable team with a distinguished track record. As part of that, you will get the opportunity to grow as an Account Executive while interacting with a deep roster of pop culture developers, publishers, ad agencies and media partners.

The role will benefit from being able to leverage our sector-leading portfolio of sites and events while learning how to meet the needs of our clients and partners.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work as part of a team to cover the digital advertising and events sales for our full range of consumer-facing website and event brands.

  • Support existing clients, and develop new ones, mainly in the indie video games sector.

  • Grow revenue and market share within the pop culture media and event sectors.

  • Learn to deal with games developers, media publishers, advertising agencies, studios and partners while handling demanding, customer-facing relationships in the sector. 

  • Build your presentation skills and be able to present to a range of relevant clients, agencies and media partners.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Natural media / advertising sales ability.

  • Some demonstrable commercial success in any previous sales or other relevant role. 

  • A strong ambition to sell digital media and events solutions to pop culture, videogames, film, TV, comics, entertainment and technology clients, agencies and media partners

  • High degree of business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Ability to present to all levels of seniority, both externally and internally

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

  • A strong work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive.

  • A positive attitude and a team mentality

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Good standard of education, ideally to Degree level, or equivalent.

  • Any pop culture or games industry exposure, with at least a personal interest or passion for the sector, ideally with a focus on indie games and associated culture.

  • An interest in the technology, entertainment and lifestyle sector in general.
