Senior Animator – AAA Console Project – Sweden
A Sweden based AAA Games studio are currently looking to expand their development team, building on the success of their past and current console titles. The studio is looking for a Senior Animator to collaborate with C-Level Managers and deliver a range of realistic animation for a new action fuelled title.
As the Senior Animator, you will be working closely with the art, design and tech teams to create the best in-game animation. You will be working on a new IP, which is still early in production, so you’ll have plenty of areas to influence and create your own ideas for this new title, brought together by some of the greatest minds in AAA action titles.
You’ll be an expert with in-game character animation, with a preference for someone with skills with both motion capture and keyframe animation, however the role is open to someone who has experience of one of these.
This role can offer this Senior Animator a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team, where they can get involved with the concept phases and really make a difference on the final output.
In addition to a great work life balance, the studio can offer perks such as an amazing pension, 5 weeks holiday allowance, studio summer closures, shares, family friendly parental leave schemes and development bonuses. This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site gradually, in a hybrid model.
- Past Animation experience in the games industry
- Knowledge of either motion captured or keyframe character animation
- Good understanding of Unity or Unreal
- Experience with any of the following - Max, Maya or Motion Builder
- Knowledge of anatomy and human body mechanics
In addition to an amazing project, the studio can also help candidates with 5-star relocation assistance, which includes paid flights, covered relocation expenses and visa assistance (if needed).
