Head of Business Development, Europe

ECI Games is a leading video game localisation partner, with and extensive portfolio of clients and one of the industry’s highest retention rates. We are now looking for a Head of Business Development in Europe to lead the team and regional growth. The individual must be consultative, have extensive experience growing revenue, and a deep understanding of the games industry. Ideally, they already have an existing network in games, are passionate about the industry, and familiar with localisation and its role in game development.

This position is perfect for someone who loves games, developing relationships, and is looking to lead a team. The successful candidate will understand the full sales cycle, from cultivating relationships within their network too negotiating and closing new partnerships and will be comfortable in a leadership position.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading new business generation within the European video games market
  • Personally, managing revenue in Central and Eastern Europe, including Germany and Poland
  • Account management and growth of new accounts
  • Attending client meetings, events, and studios
  • Presenting ECI Games and bespoke solutions in line with briefs
  • Leveraging an existing network to generate new business
  • Implementing regional based strategies to achieve revenue-based targets
  • Liaising with Developers and Publishers
  • Leading a small team of business development managers across Europe
  • Working closely with other stakeholders to implement region specific marketing and commercial campaigns
  • Working closely with other regional leaders and stakeholders on a new dedicated games brand


  • Experience in business development, account management, or partnerships
  • Excellent video game knowledge
  • Experience working to and achieving revenue-based targets
  • Excellent presentation and communication
  • An existing network of contacts within the games industry would be hugely beneficial
  • Innovative, motivated, and entrepreneurial
  • Business development experience within the games industry is advantageous but not essential
  • An organised individual with a passion for gaming
  • Someone keen to be part of a new and rapidly growing organisation
  • Leadership experience ideal


  • Very competitive basic salary
