Are you an experienced Community Manager looking to take full ownership of projects and campaigns for one of the most successful MMOs in the games industry?
As Senior Community Manager at Jagex, you will have full autonomy to create and implement community strategies and initiatives for Old School RuneScape.
Reporting to the Lead Community Manager you will work closely with them to collaborate across the whole community management team and to mentor other community management professionals on the team too. This is a role where you can make huge visible impact at a studio close to many players’ hearts all over the world. What you’ll be doing:
· Manage the global Old School RuneScape online community.· Work with the Lead Community Manager to develop robust action plans in support of the Old School product and improvements within the Community Management team.· Assist and oversee community channels and ensure your team are utilizing best practices.· Help develop community assets such as blogs, livestreams, and interviews.· Maintain a strong presence and promote on community forums, social media, and within our online games.· Assist with events, trade show and exhibitions.· Develop and maintain relationships with both our organic creators and key influencers.· Work with Junior team members to expand their skills, focus on training needs and help them to develop in their roles.· Review Junior team members work to a high-standard, ensuring a studio-driven voice is present throughout.· Own community initiatives, highlighting what is required to make a content release happen and managing the moving parts such as copy, content creation, surveys, social engagement, and sentiment reporting.· Engage with the product team, taking an active role in steering development of game content based on player feedback – acting as a customer stakeholder in decisions. What we’re looking for:
· Proven experience in community management, preferably within the games industry.· A passion for gaming, especially MMO’s, and the changes that community management can bring to positively improve the player experience.· Experience of coaching and supporting more junior members of a team· Experience working closely with product teams and providing feedback based on player sentiment.· Demonstrable experience in creating and executing community campaigns.· Proficient in using social media platforms for community engagement and promotion.· Understanding and experience of influencer management.· Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.· Proficient in using community sentiment analysis tools and data analysis.· Willingness to travel to trade shows and exhibitions.
