A Brighton based Games studio are currently looking for a Office/Studio Manager to help support the day-to-day functions of the studio. The studio is renowned in the Console/PC and Mobile industry for creating narrative driven, fun to play titles and have continually set the bar in the indie market for creating unique game ideas and in-depth story driven titles.  

As the Studio Manager your role will vary, working in a 360 environment you’ll have direct interface with the CEO, Producers, Finance and Legal teams to ensure smooth running of the company.

You’ll be involved with preparing contracts, forecasting, onboarding new starters, organising social events, and purchasing IT equipment for current and new employees. Most importantly you’ll get the chance to nurture the team and help further develop their already creative, family feel culture.

The team are open to people wanting to work in the games industry from other creative sectors and those with similar experience in a Producer role (for example), looking for more scope on the business side of running a studio.

This role is 100% remote working (forever), you must be UK based already.

Salary range for this is £25,000-£35,000

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar Studio/Office Manager role
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)
  • Knowledge of the games or other creative industries is an advantage
  • Able to work remotely effectively
