A Liverpool based Games studio are currently looking for a Technical Artist to work on a range of new titles on Console and PC platforms.
The Studio Founders are renowned in the Industry for creating fun, easy to play / hard to master console classics. The studio is now working on a range of IP’s in collaboration with some of the biggest names in the industry.
As the Technical Artist you will collaborate with the current Art and Technical Director and develop tools to help streamline their development processes. You’ll sit between art and code teams to ensure pipelines are consistent and realistic with the brief and contribute to the general quality bar the studio is looking to achieve.
The role will complement someone looking for creative freedom and a chance to leave their thumbprint on a brand-new game, overseeing features from concept to completion.

This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if needed (you must be UK based for 100% remote working, due to studio meetings).
- At least 1 Years’ experience in a Technical Artist role
- Experience in the games industry or similar (VR, VFX, Tech)
- Experience with Unreal 4 or Unity 3D
- Knowledge with the likes of Maya (or 3DSmax) and Photoshop
- A good problem solver who has an interest in aspects such as optimisation and creating shaders
