Technical Artist AAA Console Games Germany Ref 2069
We are working with a leading AAA console game studio based in Frankfurt, Germany who are looking for a Technical Artist to join their team, working closely with the art and engine teams, ensuring asset quality and performance.
What will you be doing
- Provide support for the Art and Tech teams
- Production problem solving - recognising inefficiencies and pipeline issues and solving them
- Developing user friendly tools and scripts.
- Creation and maintenance of Technical Art documentation for features and tools for the team.
- Ensure our DCC pipeline can push out the highest quality
- Creating and maintaining Shaders with the collaboration of the Render Code Team.
Who are you
- Technical artist / tools programmer– a min 2 years’ experience in the games industry
- Scripting experience in Python, MaxScript
- Good understanding of Maya, 3DS Max. Photoshop
- Solid understanding of art optimisation techniques and developing custom tools for Digital Content Creation tools
