Tools Programmer – New Console/PC Title – 100% Remote Working
A Brighton based Games studio are currently looking for a Tools Programmer to work on a range of new titles on Console and PC Platforms. The studio is renowned in the Console/PC and Mobile industry for creating narrative driven, fun to play titles and have continually set the bar in the indie market for creating unique game ideas and in-depth story driven titles.
As the Tools Programmer you will collaborate with code, design, writing and art teams, to define the tools strategies of the studio. The studio is working on a new unique project, which they’re aiming to dominate its genre and create its own gameplay style in the process. The role will allow you to be hands-on, with the chance to be creative with the tools you develop for the team. Since the team is small, there will be opportunities for you to contribute to other systems for the game such as gameplay and UI.
You’ll help identify areas for improvement and implement tools and processes to overcome potential ‘deadline stoppers’, playing a massive part in building this ambitious new title.

For the remote working option candidates can be based in either the UK or France.
- At least 1 years’ experience as a Tools Programmer in the games industry
- Strong C# experience
- Released either PC/Console (preferred) or Mobile games
- Unity engine experience, especially writing tools within the engine
- Good communicator, team player and problem solver
