UI and Marketing Art Director - PC Title – Germany

UI and Marketing Art Director - PC Title – Germany

Amiqus have partnered with an exciting Games Studio based in Germany, who are known for setting the quality bar on console and PC titles. They are currently going through a period of expansion and require a UI and Marketing Art Director to help work on their creative strategy behind their hugely successful, award winning PC title.

In this position you’ll be working across several areas such as UI, Marketing and general 2D art. You will be responsible for crafting the games visual identity on both UI and brand level, making sure the public game artwork is consistent with the game’s reputation.

You will be up to date with present PC trends and enjoy playing and making games. The ideal candidate will understand the console/PC market and have good knowledge of what works and what doesn’t.

The role would suit a Senior or Lead UI Artist, who still wants to remain hands on with creating UI work, but also wants more of a leadership role in the team where your decisions will impact the business.

This role will promote freedom in your work style and will allow you to be creative with your design – the Art is at the heart of all their games so it’s important to understand the overall experience of playing the game, rather than focusing solely on the mechanics.

  • 5 years’ experience in the Games Industry
  • Experience in a Lead or Senior role
  • Past shipped titles as a UI Artist on PC or Console Platforms
  • Experience with Photoshop + Illustrator
  • A great knowledge of games and an excellent understanding of what makes them work
  • A portfolio demonstrating your work

The studio can offer perks such as flexible core hours, subsidised gym memberships, free German lessons, contribution to childcare costs, free food, pension and covered relocation costs (includes legal advice).
