The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Gameplay Programming in addition to exceptional math’s skills. If it relates to gameplay, interaction, player feedback or progression, then you will either have ownership of, or be contributing to these areas across multiple titles for the organisation.
This role is perfect for someone who is really passionate about the low-level systems or ‘ground rules’ that govern a particular game world or a range of mechanics.
This position can offer this developer a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team and in a fast-paced environment. This would suit a generalist programmer who enjoys a flat structure, where they can get involved with different disciplines of programming on the creative and technical side and assist with rapid prototyping in the process.
The role will promote freedom in your work style and will allow you to be creative with your code in an open-plan environment, where ideas are commonly contributed, and everyone has an input on the project.
This role can either be remote working 100% (ideally if you’re UK/EU based already) or remote initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so.
Requirements

- Shipped games on Console/PC platforms (preferred) or Mobile
- Strong knowledge of Unity pipelines, optimisation and Unity Engine
- A good generalist with a wide range of disciplines
- Experience with C++ and C#
- A bonus if you’ve worked on multiplayer titles
