VFX Artist – Bordeaux, France – Hybrid

With over a decade of experience, One Player Mission’s client has created successful games adapted from famous brands on next gen gaming platforms as well as their own critically acclaimed original IPs.

They are seeking an experienced and talented VFX Artist who is both rigorous and committed to creating, polishing, and implementing amazing visual effects.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Existing professional experience as a VFX Artist.
• A sharp eye for detail
• Experience and familiar with FX editors
• Knowledge of console rendering techniques and pipelines, inside out
• Familiar with technical constraints and optimisation levers
• You know how to get the most out of the software, middleware, and tools to achieve your goals
• A Master of 3D software (3DS Max ideally)

DESIRED:

• You master the programming of shaders (GLSL / HLSL)
• You know C++, Python, and C#
• Knowledge of a scripting language
• Knowledge of Houdini

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create FX for environments (rain, snow, fire..) and gameplay feedback (shots, projectiles…)
• Participate to the improvement of existing tools, such as our FX editor
• Optimise VFX to answer all technical constraints
• Integration of your FX in the levels of the game
