Job Description Our client is an independent game development studio based in London’s Surrey Quays. They help developers and publishers bring their games to market by providing porting services and development support throughout the development cycle.

Role:

Our client are looking for an experienced, self-motivated QA Analyst to join their expanding team. You will work on various projects to support the software engineers and the production department.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the testing process on multiple PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch games
  • Ensuring builds are ready for submission to platform holders / clients
  • Generate high level test plans
  • Working closely with software engineers to supply relevant information
  • Monitoring performance of builds on each supported platform
  • Finding platform specific bugs
  • Liaising with external QA



Skills and Experience:

Required
  • Prior Experience working in Video Game development in a QA position
  • Knowledge of the submission process on Xbox One and PlayStation 4
  • Experience testing TRC’s, XR’s and Lotcheck issues
  • Worked with current gen consoles
  • Proficient with various bug tracking software
  • Excellent communication and written skills

Desirable:
  • Experience using JIRA in a professional capacity
  • Knowledge of submissions on all platforms
  • Understanding of source control
  • Comfortable using DevNet, XDP and NDP
  • Previously worked in small teams
