My client is a multi-cultural and innovative London based mobile games studio that creates distinctive games that millions of people love, all across the globe. Close collaboration between their teams and players is at the heart of their unique way of developing and marketing their games. They are now looking for an Analytics Lead to join their enthusiastic team.

The right candidate will be responsible for the end to end process of managing game analytics. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring several titles' longevity and commercial success. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to drive the information gathering in-game, to make sense of it and create recommendations based on findings. You would also drive the desired behaviours from players and will manage a team of data analysts.

Key Reponsibilities;
  • Defining and implementing the right analytics to enable the extraction of actionable insights from the data
  • Create and constantly evolve analyses based on hypotheses crafted with the development and commercial teams
  • Evaluate and quantify the effect of ongoing changes to the game through data analysis and statistical methods
  • Inputting directly into the development roadmap with recommendations supported by data
  • Defining and managing reporting to key stakeholders; communicating insights through internal reports, presentations and dashboards
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses on-demand as issues arise

  • Skilled with SQL and Python are a must
  • In-depth knowledge of video games and of core gamers
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Good communication, organisation and presentation skills
  • BS in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or economics or equivalent experience

Desired Skills;
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Modelling experience, e.g. predictive modelling, segmentation, etc
  • Experience with dashboarding tools
